Former Pee Wee football star reveals to Saints staff how to beat Falcons

Just before the New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons in a pivotal NFC South matchup, the boys in black and gold received an early Christmas gift from an unlikely source.

A longtime Saints fan and former Pee Wee football star presented the team with the blueprint for a guaranteed win against the Falcons, coming via a forum post on Saints Report titled: A Saints Win vs Falcons — GUARANTEED!!!

Adam McCready, a 1982 Pee Wee All-Star for Girard playground, said the revelation on how to beat the Dirty Birds became clear to him after playing Madden 18 on Xbox.

“Back in pee-wee, when I was an all-star as a quarterback, running back, defensive end, linebacker, and safety, they’d snap me the ball on offense and I’d just plow through the other kids. I thought, ‘what if the Saints did the same thing I did?’ so I tested it,” said McCready as he twirled the 1982 East Bank Champions ring on his ring finger and gazed longingly into the distance.

“Playing against the Falcons, I called a ‘direct snap’ to Alvin Kamara and he easily churned out 30 yards. I called it again, and bam, 24 yards. Again, and I tacked on 27 more. I used the play all game long and the Falcons didn’t know what hit them — it looked like me out there when I was an all-star.”

“I won 45-13 and the Chevy Kamara had 431 yards rushing. He was all we needed then and he’s all we need now.” – Former Pee Wee All-Star Adam McCready on his hand-drawn play.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, the staff of the New Orleans Saints rank 4th in the NFL in the amount of time they spend combing fan forums for how the team should run its offense.

“Our offensive staff had been scanning Saints Report, Black & Gold, and Tiger Droppings for days trying to get ideas on how we should game plan for Atlanta — fans have the shrewdest insight that we as coaches sometimes don’t see with our noses in the grind,” said Saints coach Sean Payton.

“We were getting a little worried because the fans weren’t posting about how to approach this huge game but then on Monday night Petey (offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael) comes running in with his iPad yelling for us to stop what we were doing saying, ‘Adam McCready had broken the code against the Falcons!'”

Payton said after reviewing the post the team immediately began implementing McCready’s plan, who concluded his forum post with: “I won 45-13 and the Chevy Kamara had 431 yards rushing. He was all we needed then and he’s all we need now. If Coach Payton calls nothing but direct snaps to him it guarantees a Saints win. It’s scientifically proven. Who Dat!”

The Saints kick the crap out of the Falcons this Thursday, November 22nd, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome with kickoff set for 7:20 p.m.
