For the 27th consecutive year, Entergy New Orleans is the top power company in New Orleans.

The Association for Strategic Services and Hybrid Atomic Transference again honored the energy giant as the city’s “Highest Rated Power Company” after concluding its annual survey of power customers in New Orleans.

Despite some recent snags, Entergy New Orleans received a record-shattering 3.06% approval rating from its customers in 2021, easily placing the company among the nation’s elite providers. The distinction comes almost a year after the power company’s customers implemented a groundbreaking rolling payments plan to assist the utility in making ends meet.

ASSHAT, an organization that recognizes top energy providers, says Entergy New Orleans may be one of the most dominant companies in the country.

“I don’t have the numbers in front of me, but I’d say close to 100% of New Orleanians choose Entergy as their power company,” said Ben Moran, president of ASSHAT. “That really says something about their service.”

In recognition of the award, Entergy New Orleans announced it will release a statement to the public from CEO John Isaac sometime between 9 am and 7 pm on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of next week.

The ASSHAT survey has a margin of error of +/- 3.06%.
