A local father says he is still undecided on attending his daughter’s upcoming school concert after reviewing what he described as a “pretty weak AF lineup overall.”
The father reportedly spent several minutes reviewing a flyer his daughter brought home for next month’s school concert, in which she will reportedly be “starring” alongside roughly 140 other children, before quietly asking his wife if there was “maybe a second page with the better acts on it.”
According to family members, concerns began mounting after he realized the event would primarily feature recorder performances, beginner violin students, and “a heavy emphasis on songs nobody’s heard of.”
Sources say he remains cautiously optimistic a few unannounced acts may appear during the finale to “save the whole thing.”
“Look, all I’m saying is Gin Blossoms played Family Gras,” the father explained. “Like, why not Sarah’s school? You’re telling me they couldn’t get at least one guy from Better Than Ezra to stop by for twenty minutes? Right now this lineup is weak AF.”
The father was later reportedly seen texting other parents to see if anyone had leaked the set times yet.
