City of New Orleans Allows Residents Privilege of Disposing of Their Own Household GarbageGary Chan

The City of New Orleans will now allow residents the privilege of hauling their own rotting household garbage to the dump in lieu of already paid for municipal garbage collection. The swift creation and implementation of the new City Haul service are said to be the quickest and most efficient effort ever performed by officials in city government history, with the “free burial plots as pothole repair program” as the only other somewhat comparable instance in recent memory.

Officials say only the most humble residents are invited to participate in the groundbreaking program and each one will be responsible for loading and off-loading their own garbage to and from their own vehicles. Participating residents are required to in the City Haul uniform shirt or risk being fined their fair share. City Haul bulletproof vests are optional.

The city dump is located at 1300 Perdido St, New Orleans, LA 70112.

Neutral Ground News reached out to Mayor LaToya Cantrell for comment on her administration’s new program but she already was intensely engaged in a meeting at the Windsor Court.
